Well, the new Steven Spielberg movies about Alien squad. Remember his other Alien movies. [00:16:31] Remember DT and Close? Counter of the third kind. Remember all those. He's made another Alien movie, guys, that should be huge. [00:16:40] Should be billion dollar at the Box office. But it's coming and going. Why obsession keeps growing and growing. I saw Oppenheimer once. [00:20:47] I was entertained. And then when I saw it a second time, oh my gosh, I was struggling and boy, I just. I was, I was struggling. I don't. I think I left halfway through because I saw it the endzing on down in winter spring on Winter Park, Florida. I want to say I left. [00:21:05] I don't think I did because I saw it once with other friends. I think I saw it again with another group of friends. But that second time, bro, it was. I was struggling. [00:21:15] But no one. [00:21:19] Is he the last great director of his era. [00:21:24] And who will be the great director of the future? [00:21:27] Cory Parker. [00:21:29] You know, because if you look at Nolan's filmography, his early films were small and now he just stays on these epic scales. Now it's relatively small. [00:21:52] I mean, you know, it was a grounded story in a town, not these epic scaled stories going through space time. [00:22:00] You know. Is Oppenheimer considered a small scale story? I don't know. [00:22:05] I don't think so. When you have a cast like that, when you have pretty much a. Every single A lister in your movie, that's not a small scale. I don't care if it's On a grounded story of an important time. You know what I mean? Like this. The only. That's the one thing. There is one criticism I've heard that was an objective one. How they. [00:22:25] A lot of the criticism was coming with the. [00:22:27] I can't say speak too much on this because I just don't remember the Odyssey much. Apparently he was an Emily Watson translation version that kind of emasculated Odysseus in a way, because the original Odysseus is very proud, has a lot of hubris. It's very. You know, and his pride sets him on this, you know, with the whole Cyclops. You know what I mean? If he just didn't say his stupid name, he would have went home. [00:22:55] But I gotta watch the movie. I gotta refresh myself. I don't want to say too much. [00:22:59] That's their opinion. I don't want to, you know, regurgitate that and be wrong, because that's probably just their opinion. But a lot of it was, you know, they felt like the disease was pulled back and pushed more of the PTSD of the Trojan War on him, which is valid. And another one was this one I was gonna bring up. [00:23:19] It was more of just all these A listers in this movie. They took them out a bit, but I'll see how I feel because I can immerse myself. Forget about it. You know what? That's gonna march myself. I will. But it's just like, oh, my God, some of them are all in the Marvel movies. And it's just. [00:23:36] Is this. Pretty much all of Hollywood is in his movie. [00:27:51] Those players on the semi pro team were the reason why they got an. Orlando has an MLS team to begin with. So when I looked up the MLS team on the roster and I Was like, there's no one on here that's from the semi pro team. [00:28:09] And I was like, well, they made Orlando. [00:28:15] Why? Me and my friends, we would go to downtown Orlando and we'd see the soccer players. We used to see the goalie, Gabriel, but like, yo. And he would recognize us because he would be the one in the corner screaming. They'd be like, yo. And then we met Jamie Watson. He was like the center or the main or. I don't remember what position he played, but Jamie Watson was the man. [00:29:04] You know what I mean? [00:29:06] And then it's like, where's Jimmy Watson? Why is he not mls? I got very close to the team emotionally, and I enjoyed watching the game and watching the players that I knew. I knew their names. Don't ask me what they're. I remember Jimmy Watson. And then their government's like, yes, the data center. [00:37:37] Who the fudge do you think you are to ignore your citizens? Everywhere citizens, everywhere of towns, of cities are saying, we don't want these here. And their politicians are saying, off, they're paying us to put them here, and we're gonna put them here. And sometimes. Sometimes there's even a town where the. Where the city council is like, you're right, we're not gonna put them in, but the corporation does it anyway. [00:39:42] But these corporations are ignoring the governments and going ahead anyway. That should be high treason. [00:39:54] That is an entity working outside the government. It was that cool. There was the discussions of like, oh, is AI that's gonna be dangerous? Is it gonna become, you know, like, Terminator, Skynet is gonna enslave us? Or is it going to be a tool for humanity to do great things and go to the stars and become a spacefaring species? [00:40:29] It was fun when that was the dialogue. But now you see these hideous, monstrous buildings being built on these beautiful green lands and consuming and consuming and poisoning and poisoning. [00:40:46] Now it's not fun to talk about AI now it's no longer a fun conversation to have because we see the goal of the billionaires. We see what their intent is. [00:40:55] They do not care about us. [00:40:58] They care about their new children. The AI. The AI little. The little baby. That's the little aoi. [00:41:06] We are being removed from the equation of life. [00:41:10] Anyway, I'm feeling a bit unhinged because I'm getting angry. [00:41:15] I just feel like this kind of thing should be treated seriously and nobody's doing anything about it. [00:41:21] If we say no, it's no. [00:41:25] You don't just do what you want. But when I'm out and about, I just feel like, yeah, I can ignore stuff, but I feel on the horizon. I'm like, what's out there? What's happening? Oh, God. [00:43:42] I just don't feel comfortable. Like I'm giving myself a false blanket of safety and it's starting to choke me a little bit. I'm getting a bit hot underneath the blanket and I want to take it off, but I can't, you know, I don't know. [00:44:00] I. I really want to. [00:44:02] I want to have good days. I want to feel good. But the world feels fragile. I feel like there's a crash coming soon, a disaster. Something's hap. A great war might be on my. Will there be World War Three in my lifetime? I kind of think there was gonna be. [00:44:20] There doesn't seem to be an end to anything. [00:44:24] This just seems to be getting worse. [00:44:26] And everyone's like, I'll wait for the next presidential race. It's not gonna get any better. [00:44:33] All of these politicians are bought and paid for. [00:45:16] But I just feel like I want to hope, you know, I want to have hope that there could be peace on the horizon, that human suffering could end. The evoke emotion, of course. But it was cool to see the world coming together for the World Cup. It was really cool to see people in America, especially in a Trump America, that they're like, oh, Americans are kind of cool. [00:45:50] It's cool here. And it was cool to see, like I said, it's still algorithms. [00:45:55] But it was very hopeful that, man, we could really come together as a species. We really could come together as a species. [00:46:04] It's really cool. And you see, like, you see, like, Koreans in Mexico having a party with Mexicans. [00:46:11] I was like, that's so. Stuff like that is cool to see, and it gives you hope. [00:46:17] And I was like, but at the same time, when I was watching those videos, I was like, wait till it ends. [00:46:24] We're gonna go back to doom. We're gonna go back to doom. [00:46:29] Like, it was like a short moment, and it's like the eye of the hurricane. We got to see the sunlight for a moment, and it was. Oh, it was so refreshing to see us come together like that, especially what's going on in the world. [00:46:44] It really was cool, and it gave me hope, and that's what I want. I just want to feel hopeful, especially as an American, you know, I want to feel hopeful in my country. I want to be. I want to feel proud of my country. I want to be. Back when I was a kid, I was like, I remember they would teach us, America is a melting pot of the world. [00:47:05] We're the descendants of the rest of the world. Descendants of immigrants, slaves, and the natives. And I'm like, wow, so cool that we're. [00:47:15] We're all different from all walks of life. Our ancestry comes from all over the world, and that's what makes us Americans, you know, we're a melting pot, and that's what makes us great. And I was like, wow, so cool to be in America. I used to think that as a kid. I'm so glad I was born in America. I remember thinking that. [00:47:33] Now I'm just. I want that feeling again. [00:47:36] I want to feel proud to be an American, you know, I want to feel hope. [00:47:43] Yeah. [00:47:46] Anyway, so I guess that's mine. [00:47:50] So just do some bulletins. [00:47:56] A movie version versus cinema. Is there a difference? Ask yourself these things. What do you consider a movie versus what do you consider as a piece of cinema? [00:48:07] My opinion? A movie is something you can watch without thinking too much. [00:48:12] Cinema is something thought provoking, spiritual provoking, you know, it touches you to your core. It moves you, makes you feel. Feel a certain way. Now, I'm not saying you don't feel. [00:48:25] You don't feel things in a movie. I gotta figure out. Hold on a second.
